Helicopter Twirls Uncontrollably into Palm Fronds at Well-Known California Coast
A helicopter flying over a well-attended coastal shoreline abruptly began spiraling out of control, eventually losing altitude and crashing into a cluster of palm trees as onlookers watched.
Videos posted on the internet capture the helicopter starting to spin over Huntington Beach then plunging towards the border of the beach, where it ends up lodged amidst palm trees and a steps close to the shoreline route.
First Aid Update
Local firefighters stated five people were taken to hospital involving two individuals who were in the helicopter and were “extracted safely from the crash site” subsequent to the accident on that day.
Three individuals on the pavement were injured. Specifics on their condition were not immediately available.
The reason for the accident was still under investigation.
